Today's Meditation - Listening to the Morning

​This morning as I sat with my morning coffee and the dog on my lap, I listened.  I heard the wind, a very soft, gentle wind, whisper through the trees.  I heard the sound of a distant car.  But then, but then I heard the birds.  The sound of a tweedle song, a caw caw caw as a big black bird few by.  I won't get all of the sounds right, so use your imagination.  Another sound, a woop, woop woop.  I don't know what kind of bird makes that lovely song.  There's nothing like the sounds of the morning in the summer. ​

Sometime today, If you can, go outside. Put your feet on the ground (no shoes, just feet) and listen.  Be part of the beauty of nature.  You'll be glad you did.

I envy you for having a great time. That moment is very relaxing because I once experienced that one. I was sitting beside my favorite uncle when I was still young and he used to watch birds that sing every morning. That was a relaxing moment of our life. He said that I must appreciate the little things in life. I hope many of us would experience this one because the feeling it will give is so priceless. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience.
