If you are new to yoga, have tight muscles, or an older individual and would like to be more mobile, flexible and build some strength in an easy non-threatening way, join our very gentle-serenity yoga for seniors class.
In this class we will use gentle stretching and restorative postures to lengthen muscles and increase flexibility. We use props and chairs, and many pose modifications will be provided so everyone will have fun practicing yoga.
We will integrate a variety of breathing and concentration practices and we always include a nice long guided relaxation or meditation to help calm our bodies, minds and souls. Yoga is a supportive spiritual practice and in this class we focus as much on our inward journeys as our physical practice.
This class is open to everyone, especially those with limited mobility.
